I agree w Scott who also posted here. I worked for Marimon Business Systems, Houston. Here's my opinion of them.

Thinking of buying or working for them? Here's some good advise. Stay Away. No. Run away from this company!

Buy from them? They collect premium dollars for everything they sell. Good business for them. Right? Well they place gobs of equipment under state contracts & the taxpayers are getting the shaft all the way around, in my opinion.

How would you feel if you found that "new" equipment wasn't so new sometimes? Or if you paid a premium price to receive 4 hour responce that 50% of the time never materilized? Or what if the service rep who responded was there to do only that - stop the clock; because they weren't trained to work on that particular piece of equipment. They are instructed to leave it incomplete so another tech can get back to them.

Paperwork & guarantees: Get it in writing. They'll be sure to get your signature in blood however don't expect a signature in the box they sign, under company rep. At some future date when you want to go to court this might be a big advantage for them.

Work for them? Do you want to become a number? A non human? Good - because they'll let you go in a flash should you dare speak up about their "policies". If you work there its because you have "conformed". You're a spiritless, helpless, indentured servant with rock bottom pay, low benefits or no affordable family insurance plans (approx $900 mo your cost)? They also offer very limited high priced insurance options that if you particapate - will cost you 50 - 70% of typical take home pay each month!

Wage freezes have been in effect for years with no raises or cost of living adjustment for most employees, except perhaps management.

Mileage reimbursement are currently being reduced from $0.41 per mile to a slide scale of $0.13 per mile!

[ This, At a time when their sales and service revenues are setting record profits / and gas is at a 2 year peak when no relief in sight]. Never mind that even the notorious IRS even allows the average cost per business mile is $0.51 in 2011!

The company will actually profit and employees will be forced to pay the difference from their own pockets. Anthony Marimon & his management cronnies are passing the cost of running the business off to thier -QUOTE "One Team, One Family, One Vision" employees without even blushing with embarrassment. What gall. If anything - its a combination of the Charles Manson and Adams family rolled together!

Employees: Do you want to be forced to sign promissary notes and accumulate enormous personal debt in return for required "training" programs that benefit the company more than yourself? Once trained you get to expand your job duties for the same pay & no other incentives!

Would you like to be making less in 5 yrs than you do now? Then by all means - work for Marimon Business Systems in Houston. They're image is a illusion. The owners use customers and employees in the same way. To benefit themselves and line their pockets with no regard for either.

Beware & run in the opposite direction! That's my opinion.
