I called best buy before going up there and I asked the lady if they except used broken tvs and she said yes. She did not bother telling me that I had to pay a $10 service charge so that they will take them. I had 2 tvs which added up to $20.00. But when I got a little aggravated they then told me I will get a $10 gift card so its like not having to pay anything, is what I was told. Those Televisions were not light that I loaded into the bed of my truck and I would have gone to a place that would have taken them for free if I would have known this before going up there. They were already unloaded and the guy told me each TV was $10.00... Ya'll were lucky I had a very little amount, (MY LAST $20.00), until the end of the month. I am a disabled person and I most likely will not go back to best buy if this is the way ya'll treat your customer. Now the lady that was ringing me up as I paid to get rid of my tv's said, "Didn't someone tell you that there was a $10 charge for each tv" I told her "NO". She then informed me that they should have. I then told her if I would have known that I would have taken it somewhere else. I understand the gift cards, but why am I getting this crap. I don't have a whole lot of money NOW, so I really need to hold on to as much cash as I can. The lady behind the counter said she will go talk to the staff but how will I know if anything has been done about this situation. I was taught in retail to be up front with the customers and leave no open ended questions nor answers. I apologize for this but I have been going to Best Buy ever since my Dad took me when I was a kid I am now almost 30 years old living with short-term memory except when someone pisses me off. I have the 2 gift cards, that do me no good, whatsoever cause in order to buy something you have to have money with the gift cards.
