Poor Quality

Electronics and household app.

We received LG refrigerator as gift in 2006. Unit's ice maker and water dispenser quit working last fall. Contacted local tech for repair. It started in October and have made 4-5 trips. Each time tech called LG techs for assistance. Each time replaced item in particular circuit. We had to wait for parts to come in and kept dragging out. Finally after all else failed decided was something in harness that apparently can not be fixed. Since warranty over feels like should not have to assist.
I think LG should at the least pay the tech for all but first trip and parts. To do the right thing they should also offer another unit, even if a demo or one that did not sell from that same time frame
