I have had nothing but trouble with this company since day one! First, they gave me a number from a completely differnt area code than my local one so it was long distance to call my cell from my home phone. I called and had them change it. I was on the phone with them for over 30 minutes. When I got the new number it was an area code from Dallas, which I am nowhere near. Called back and had it changed again. Got another number with a Dallas area code. I called back 2 more times to have them change my number to a local number before they finally got it right. A total of 4 times in one day and spent 30 to 45 minutes on the phone with them each time. Then the phone wouldn't work. Couldn't make or receive calls. Called again the next day to find out what the problem was, and was assured each time that the phone would work in an hour. It didn't. Called 4 more times, an hour on the line with tem each time and was told I had to wait 24 to 48 hours for my phone to be reactivated. It wasn't. They finally decided that the SIM card needed to be replaced. Mind you I had only had the phone for less than 2 months. So they were to send me a new SIM card in the mail and it would take 3-5 days to arrive. Then once I got it I was to insert it and wait 24-48 hours more for the phone to be reactivated. At this point I had been without my cell phone for well over a week. Finally it worked.
Last week I wanted to get a couple of ringtones. I made my choices and they were sent to my phone via text message. They took. 5 minutes for each text on top of the charge for the ringtones at 17 minutes each deducted from the minutes I had on the phone. But then to activate them I had to open my browser and connect to the website. The browser would not open. It kept saying Connection Failed. I called to see what the problem was and the rep said it would be fixed in an hour. It wasn't. I gave up and erased the ringtones from my inbox. Not knowing I would be charged for them even though I was never able to use them. When I called about some sort of reimbursemeent the y all but told me I was out of luck. Even though it was not my fault that their crummy equiptment didn't work properly!
Yesterday, I was low on minutes so I added 60 towhat was remaining and this morning I had ZERO minutes. I called 3 different times and got the run-around 2 of those times. The 3rd try was handled by a supervisor and I got my minutes back. However, he once again told me "tough luck" regarding compensation for the ringtones.
I honestly do not understand how they can stay in business. But I am willing to do everything I can to put them out of business. This just not right, especially the state the economy is in right now.
