My complaint is with Tracfone. I was given a Tracfone from my sister about 3 years ago. My sister had this Tracfone for over 5 years prior to giving it to me. When my sister gave me this cell phone it had well over 8000 minutes. Every three months I always added $20.00 to keep this phone from being turned off. After I started adding money to this cell phone it had over 10000 minutes on it. I very seldom used this cell phone only for emergencies.in March I couldn’t find the cell phone, I had looked every where for this cell phone with no luck. I happened to find the phone in my closet at the end of June and I called Tracfone immediately and spoke to Alex, he said he couldn’t help me. A couple of days later (July 5) I spoke to a manager to let her know my situation and that I had found the phone and I was going to add more minutes on this cell phone but that never happened because when she told me she wouldn’t give me my minutes back we had words and this manager did not put more minutes on the tracfone after I gave her my checking account information. I can understand my phone being deactivated but, Tracfone has no right to take away all my minutes from my cell phone. Hundreds of dollars were put into buying those minutes and I want my minutes back. My sister and I have invested too much money to let Tracfone steal those minutes. This is so unfair and I need my minutes back. For the past eight years this phone has had money added to it without fail and the fact that I lost the phone, this should be considered as well.
