Prepare to be Ripped-off!

I ordered a large-screen LCD tv from this outfit based on their advertised price and their glowing BizRate reviews.

They confirmed the order at the price mentioned on their website. They called several days later and tried to upsell me (but they did not even know the features of the unit they attempted to upsell to me). Then, they demanded that I add my shipping address to my credit card account - ostensible to "prevent fraus."

I called my bank - bank told me they never heard of such a thing - that's when I started searching on the internet for more information and found the amazing reviews at reseller.net.

I wanted to cancel the order at that point, but they said they had already shipped - then the shipping company screwed up delivery twice. At that point I cancelled the order - was told that I would get a refund minus the shipping charges and a 15% restocking fee.

I have been contacting them for a month requesting to know when my refund will be issued - no response.

From what I have found out, this group of folks buys remainder stock and items that have been damaged in shipment - then resell them to unsuspecting buyers - often reshipping the same tv to soemone who returned it in the first place. The BBB reports that they are nonresponsive and I would love to hear from folks who have actually obtained a refund from them
