Bad product - bad customer service

There's just one thing worse than dacor items, it's dacor customer support. We purchased our 1st coffee machine (for $2,700) within the summer of 2006. It lasted roughly 6 months and, after many efforts at fix, and much wrangling, arm twisting and hours allocated to store attempting to talk to a person support broker, the system was changed, after being functional roughly 6 out-of 12 weeks. The Next device began deteriorating within months of shipping and, after many repairs, ultimately stop permanently after significantly less than three years of support (until we were prepared to substitute a $1,500 component, not checking installation work). Meanwhile, we created many useless efforts to make contact with customer support. Not worth the trouble; they keep you on final store, don't assist you to, don't return your calls, don't follow up on something. Throughout a poor encounter having a poor organization.
