I am writing regarding a horrific experience encountered at Crazy Mark's electronics superstore. What began as a simple return-exchange ended up an absolutely nightmare!

I bought a Braun IIe men's hair cutting apparatus from Crazy Mark's not even one week ago. When I opened it today, I realized it had been used. Not only was it used, but it contained innumerable strands of short, wiry, dark black hair. The offending party hadn't even cleaned the hair cutting apparatus before stuffing it back in the box and returning it.

I approached the returns desk with my receipt in hand. According to their stringent policy, all returns and exchanges MUST be accompanied with the receipt. No problem, I thought, as I diligently placed the item I wished to return in front of the red-shirted returns representative.

This is where things got ugly. I should have just lied to the red-shirted returns representative and said that the item was never opened and I simply wanted a refund, much like the previous purchaser did. But, in order to protect fellow consumers everywhere, I did not do that. Knowing that Target must not check returned items very carefully (if at all) before putting them on the shelf for re-sale, I wouldn't want someone else to be stuck with a used hair cutting apparatus filled with short black wiry hairs.

So, I explained to the returns clerk why I was returning the item, and that it had been purchased in the condition in which I was returning it. The red-shirted returns clerk grew angry, and accused ME of using the item and returning it! I demanded to speak to the store manager, a man of the name Bob, who literally threatened me and told me either I would leave or he would call the police on me! All the while, I wasn't doing anything at all wrong. I calmly and very politely demanded the refund I was seeking and refused to leave the store until I received it. I finally did receive my refund, but not until manager Bob threatened to pee in my hair. What is that about? Is the retail shopping industry only a place for childlike games and immature behavior these days?

I have since reported this organization to the BBB and BBT and every news station in the state of Alamabama! There is no need for stores to treat customers in this manner, and no need to sell used re-packaged merchandise.
