Hi, I bought a Kenmore ELite Stainless Brushed Stainless Fridge in late 2003. I went the surface of the point since I needed something which might last. Well, Recently I observed anything within the fridge was thawing along with a peculiar sound from the back of the system. I'd a fix guy come out today and was informed the Compressor has gone out. Repairs of over 600.00 if im blessed. After spending this amount of cash for this fridge and buying a long guarantee you'd determine a fridge might last you alot longer. After I named sears they explained that compressor warranty is 5 years and also the warranty I bought didn't include any moment to it. He then attempted to market me another 12 months guarantee for nearly 300.00. You've got to become kidding... Exactly what a ripoff!!! After I bought the warranty THE VERY FIRST TIME, the salesman explained the guarantee will be the quantity of decades following the manufactures warranty ends. I'm so disapointed with sears. All my devices in my own home are Kenmore Elites and that I Have invested a lot of cash in it. Never again. After performing research on these Kenmore appliances, I've found out there are a lot of somebody that has had the converters venture out. This fridge is just a orange and also the guarantee they offered me is just a laugh. You'd genuinely believe that this type of big organization might remain behind their goods. I suppose not.
