If u use sd card, the audio will screech LOUDLY

I had the misfortune of buying the worst camera anyone could buy. I had to buy a camera for my journalism class, one that takes video AND AUDIO. Well i found the polaroid a930 9 mega pixel camera for a good price. I bought it at my university center. That's when i should've known i was being ripped off. Well, first of all, sure it will record audio, but guess what? IT HAS NO SPEAKERS TO PLAY IT BACK. No where is this mentioned. It is not even mentioned in the instruction manual that came with the camera. I had to go to www.polaroid.com and download the extended pdf manual. Then, in such small print u need eagle eyes, it says under the portion on page 22 that talks about audio, in print that to most would be unreadable, that it only plays back sound on ur computer. I was told at the store that i would need an sd card to carry more than 3 pictures. So i bought it, put it in recorded videos and then opened the file on the computer to watch the video. I did this as soon as i got home from classes. Well, when it plays back there is a horrendous very loud screeching noise the entire video. Every video i have taken. If i turned a video in like this i would fail the assignment. I then just took out the sd card so i wouldnt accidently take it back and get ripped off again. I called the university center, i told them i just bought it today for a journalism class and all my videos are accompanied by loud screeching sounds. He said to bring it back in and if they determine something is wrong with it they'll give me a refund. I said, "well, would u consider that having a screeching noise on every video is defective? If i turn anything in with that i will make an F, so will that be considered a defect?" and he said it would, but i KNOW they will try to get out of it. It is obvious that when u try to use an sd. The port must be very corrupted in the camera because ive done it with and without the sd card, and every video taken with the sd card in is accompanied by what sounds like a kindergarten band follwing me.

I need to be able to take more than 3 minutes TOTAL of video, and i need to be able to take more than 10 pictures total. Right now i could fit about 30 seconds worth of video and about a dozen pictures. It is unacceptable to keep this camera. If they are unable to have a port that will read from an sd card, then they don't need to put an option to expand the memory by buying an sd card.

i will not accept anything but a full refund. I told my husband last week that i need to buy a camera with a high number mega pixel, because i dont want to buy a camera, just so i can go out and have to buy another camera, and I AM NOT GOING TO. They will take it back. It is a defect, and just sending it back to the manufacturer and waiting two months is unacceptable because i will already not be able to do half the required work for the class, and, therefore, i will fail.
