Lied about inventory and shipping times

I ordered 5 different stereo components for my car on 6th Avenue Electronic's website. Three of them stated "Ships in 1 - 3 Business Days". The other two said "Ships in 7 - 10 Business Days". Add in the 3-5 days UPS Shipping and I should have seen the order in 10-15 business days correct???

Well, 15 (business) days later I finally received half the order and their website shows a "partial shipment". When I called they said that they were still waiting on the amps (the last two components) to arrive into their inventory. When pressed, the guy explained that 7-10 days is what it usually takes to transfer inventory from their retail location to their online center. Then he explained that it may get transferred between a couple of their stores before coming to them and that each of these steps can take 7-10 days! Not cool! He actually sounded pissed off at me for not already KNOWING this.

We are currently on the 19th (business) day and it still hasn't shipped and is expected to arrive into their inventory "any day now". Add another 5 days for UPS to do their thing... So I'm thinking I've still got another week or two ahead of me.

What really sucks is I've scheduled time already with a local installer and have to cancel and reschedule. That's going to delay things another couple weeks on my end. Hopefully they won't charge me for the canceled appointment. I just wish they would have been straight with me from the get go and that the guy on the phone was such a prick. Definitely not worth the money I saved buying it online. Come on 6th Avenue - get your $h! T together!
