Another consumer ripped off by the rebate scam

I bought a phone on 6/15/09 that had a $50 rebate after 45 days active for anyone who bought the phone between 06/15/09 to 06/30/09, after the 45 days I just found that I was not active during that period even though I have receipts for my paid service, I sent all the correct forms, the originals and copies. How can we get justice? Can't criminal charges be filed? Help us someone! They should not be able to keep ripping people off. It is not right.
