The calling card alowed for 11 minutes for the call and disconnected after 2 minutes

I purchased several cards from this company dubbed the "OYE" Los Angeles phone card. Most of the cards worked as designed except for a couple of them. When I used these cards, I received the same prompts of time (11 minutes) allowed for those calls. However, after 2 minutes 49 seconds, the telephone call was disconnected. When I called the company, I was given a long list of charges that applied to my telephone call. This essentially averaged the cost of my telephone call to about 90 cents a minute. I could have made the same call on my cellphone for 79 cents.

These companis must be brought under control because they are obviously ripping off the citizenery. If the government cannot control them through regulation means, then the people have to take control into their own hands. I admit the industry is helping the economy but it shoud not do so illegally by riding on the backs of those who can least afford it.

The best way to fight back is not to use those cards that violate the standrds of decency in the face of stiff competition.
