Don't Buy Camera Online? Horrible experience

This is my first experience with GeminiPhoto. It was such a horrible experience. When I called the first time, the sales rep recommended that I should get another package which he called "better package deal", rather than the one that I placed the order on line. I decided to switch to the one that he advised. Neither the new invoice nor tracking information was sent to me on line. Once I placed the order, I had to call 3 times just to get someone to tell me what was the tracking no. For the package!!! Every time that I left a message, no one would EVER call back. When I receive the package, there was no invoice attached. The rebate forms that the sales rep insisted that they were special deal were not even attached!!!

After several attempts of calling, I emailed and asked about their return policy. They replied me in a very brief sentence "7 days" So I called to verified that (which of course take me several attempts). The sales rep, Charles Smuck, who is very rude, explained that the policy said 7 days after the package left their warehouse. But how could I apply this policy when I received the package way after 7 days??? I asked Charles, and he said I needed to talk to the customer service rep about this.

Charles insisted that I needed to call back in 3 hours to talk to their customer service department, he is a sales rep and couldn't help me in the customer service issue. Then he gave me a 212 area code phone number for the customer service department. Which I don't quite understand that when on the website there is a 1800 number listed as a contact no. When I asked, Charles said 1800 no. Is for sales & ordering only! All customer service issue, I will have to call 212 area code.

After he hang up, I called back their 1800 number again to get more info about the invoice, which was not included in the packaged, in order for me to talk to their customer service in 3 hours! Unfortunately, Charles picked up the phone again. Charles, the sales rep, recognized my voice and pretended that I got the wrong no. If I were to talk to customer rep, this is a wrong number to call he said and tried to avoid talking to me. I said I just talked to you 3 mins ago, and I just want to get my invoice information. Then he spoke to me...

I called their customer service and explained what happened. He said we just mailed out your rebate & invoice to you today. When I told him that I wanted to return the product. I received the product after their 7 days return policy. He said then there would be 25% stocking charge on the invoice.

The funny thing was that after I hang up. 5 mins later I checked on their website. They put customer service in front of their 212 phone number isn't that something???

This is such a horrible experience. I wish this company wouldn't have 5 stars service rating, because that is what I rely on heavily when I do my on line purchase. I hope this information will help other people.
