Drive By Scam - Sounds like I was hit like a million other people Tampa Florida

My hubby and I were on our way to a long weekend with the boat in Naples when we were waved down at a gas station after we fueled up. Guess they picked us due to our out of state plates... Plus he said with that BIG boat we should be able to afford these. Can't beleive we fell for this. He had Florida plates and drove a black, newer SUV. We are only out 200.00 and got their "incredible" 6050 deal. We opened it up and it all works but it scares me to think we might plug this into a 1500.00 tv and it will blow up. The kid told us he was fresh out of the service and needing to put a little money in his pocket. Thank God we didn't give him any more than we did! We never do this kind of thing... Guess we have our reminder why now! The warranty card is so "hokey" but it was all wrapped up nice and pretty! Ha! Guess we need to laugh at our ignorance and gullability! He is lucky we don't live in that area... But I am sure he was counting on that! Buyer Beware!
