Electronics and household app.
I was with Sprint for 2 years and was satisfied with their service and great price but decided to change carriers because I really wanted the iphone. So after my 2 year contract was over, I found a deal for a Blackberry Bold for AT&T (which I would later trade for an iphone). Of course I wanted to keep my phone number so I had that number ported to my new AT&T account. My new phone became active on 2/20/09. My final Sprint bill had a billing period of 2/13/09 - 3/12/09 and I had to pay THE FULL MONTH'S bill. It didn't matter to Sprint that I only used 7 days of it. Their explanation to me was since I ported my number they could not prorate my final bill and so was responsible for the final amount which came out to $104.24 ($99.99 unlimited plan plus fees). They would not budge on this. So for everyone out there thinking of leaving Sprint for another company, if you plan on porting your number, do it when your billing cycle for Sprint is almost over.
