$117.70 Taken for Returned Receivers, Still Not Refunded

Direct TV are crooks. They took $117.70 out of my bank account for receivers [2] that I returned in Dec. 08. To date I still have not received my money back, and it is 3-11-09.

They sent me a statement on 3-10-09 stating I now owe them 49.95 for a pay-per-view that I never ordered on 7-26-08. My 117.70 refund is now 67.75. What a way to extort money from us. Not once did we order even one pay-per-view, nor have I ever received my money back. BEWARE, they can rip you off, take money from your bank and never return it.

I have made over 20 phone calls to date, and on this last one today I was treated very rudely and called a liar about the PPV charge. Companies that can take your money from your bank account should be stopped and prosecuted. Extortion is a crime and they are still doing it to all of their customers. I am also writing to the Better Business Bureau of Atlanta, GA, and my congressman as well. This must stop.
