3 strikes, you lose

Alert on Thomson electronics RCA product VHS/DVD combo unit DRC8335 of which i purchased 3 units at Target for my gym. All 3 units failed to work almost immediately, or after less than 3 uses-whether it was the vhs part, the dvd part, or a full-on drive failure/freeze up of the entire unit. They eat your valuable vhs tapes or freeze at dvd loading. You will lose valuable memorires trying to dislodge your media from these units. NOTHING i have done with Thomson has produced any consumer response whatsoever.in fact, the one unit they worked on has yet to be returned after 4 months time, and another unit was replaced with an equally defective item. SOMEONE needs to do a class action lawsuit on these guys at this point. My internet research shows that my particular item has defective units all across the country, and equally disgrintled and frustrated customers. RCA has gone to hell and needs to be held accountable, as does Thomson.
