When I first hooked it up, we got nothing. Then, realized the wrong dialogue box was on the screen. After clicking on the correct box, we were off & running. This product is great. I'm using it on a laptop (with neighbor's wi-fi). My kid's broke my router, which was what I needed for my Vonage so I decided to try this rather than purchase another router. Now, I'm going to cancel my Vonage & Internet Service (huge savings). Amazing! I did get one dropped call (I called right back & it was fine) and one call had in - - out sound for a short time. Overall, what do you expect for the price. I think it's pretty close to perfect. I was given the option of several pre-fixes which I liked as I let the kid's choose which would be easiest for them to remember. The area code is right where I live so no issues there. I love that you can see everyone that calls in & out, how much time you're on the line, etc. It'll take some getting used to, but an amazing deal. 99.9% perfect.
