Garmin sells outdated maps, their maps are about 15 to 20 years old. For example their 2009 map shows swamps and lakes where there are hotels, highways or townhouses. When I call garmin to inform them that the GPS (Nuvi 370) has gotten me lost a few times, which cause me to waste time and gas, I was told that the GPS is meant to be use for recreational purpose, it is not meant to acurately take me from point A to point B.

My advise to anyone who is looking to purchase a GPS may want to scratch Garmin off the list. There is a lot of hype out there about Garmin and that is exactly what it is hype.
