Don't Waste Your Money with Garmin GPS, KS 66062-3426

I got a Garmin GPS for Christmas and was very excited to use it. While it works well most of the time, I've realized that first they misled us and then they try to get more money out of us.

The navigator implies that Canada is included in the maps already on the machine. Only a handful of very select cities from Canada are on it. Not very useful when you're trying to plan a trip and don't know where you're going.

Second, there is a map update now available and it is $70.00! Tom-tom GPS navigators update frequently and don't require any extra payment. When I emailed Garmin and told them how disappointed I was they thanked me for my business and brushed it off. Hopefully word does get out that it's not worth the money to buy Garmin. Pay the extra to get a xxxxxxx because you get a lot more bang for you buck.
