I was shopping for a iPhone cover for my brother as a christmas present and I went to the i-Play Tunes booth at the UTC mall. I asked the guy that was working there if the covers they sold would fit the older version of the iPhone, not the 3G version. He assured me that the one I bought would fit the phone and if not to bring it back for a refund.

While I was paying for my cover, another customer with the same phone as my brother came up to see what products the booth sold. I saw this customer try to fit the case that I had just bought on his phone and it did not fit! So I immediately asked the guy working at the booth why the case was not fitting the phone and his reply was "Sorry there are NO refunds", but if I wanted to exchange it out for something else from the booth, he would honor the exchange!

I tried to explain to the employee that I haven't even left the booth and I wanted a refund. He said his computer was not set up for refunds and that I could contact his manager. He gave me a business card with an 800 number, which I tried calling while still at the booth to get in touch with someone, but there was no answer.

I tried to reason with the employee, that I would be more than willing to take cash even though I paid with credit card. Needless to say, he refused to do anything except exchanging another item for the item I had just bought. I am going to fight this charge with my credit card company, but I doubt they will do anything about it. Please beware of these booths that steal your money buy selling you false items!!
