Directions on reseting the filter alarm is imperfect and published in problem. While calling kitchenAid, there's no aid as just how to reset the filter alarm. Alternatively they would like to deliver a technology out to allow them to cost. Meantime, the right way to reset the alarm is KEEPING THE PLUS AND H SWITCH FOR 4 MOMENTS. I just discovered this out in error while playing with device.
