30 day return policy makes phone impossible to return

Metro pcs has a 30 day return policy the phone must be in like new condition and less than 1 hour talk time. I returned with mine 4 days after buying it to upgrade to a more expensive phone. I had 28 minutes of talk time used. The salesman that sold me the phone looked it over and said if you hold it in the sun and look real hard that there was a tiny scratch smaller than a pin head on the cover which made it not in like new condition. He then called his manager and told her that there was a slight scratch that you could hardly see. Well she had to call her boss and would call right back. She calls back and says no not to accept it. I couldn't even see the scratch he was talking about myself but over the phone she refused it. For all I know it had this scratch when I got it they don't have you inspect the phone when you get it and nobody would have even seen this supposed scratch. I see 20/20 and I couldn't see it (and I don't need reading glasses to read). So if your thinking about metropcs what you get your stuck with because they are not taking it back.
