Kihei Moped
Added a $50 charge to our rental by saying I put a tiny scrath on the side panel

My family rented four mopeds for the day and the owner actually ended up following us at points to check up on us. When we returned them he walked straight over to mine and pointed out a scratch saying it had not been there before and we would have to pay a $50 fine to fix the scratch or $200 to replace the side panel. At no point did I ever crash the moped or in any way put a scratch on the scooter. It looks like a scam that they pull on tourists all the time, by now they have probably made enough money of that one scratch to buy ten new mopeds. I highly reccomend you avoid this rental shop at all costs, there are plenty of other rental shops close by with better selection and newer scooters.
