Best Buy "No Lemon Policy" Fails to replace tv

Electronics and household app.

We bought the LG 42LB1DR LCD tv about 1-2 years ago with the 4yr PSP. About a month ago, the tv started to malfunction in the form of not turning on, turning on but not displaying anything, and not recognizing the remote communications. So following what was said in the PSP, we called the 1-888 number.

One week later, a person from GS shows up and starts looking at the tv, some how the tv turns on, 5mins later it shuts off as soon as he starts pulling out of the driveway, we call him back and he starts looking at it again, 10mins later he says the mainboard is the problem, he goes to the van pulls out his phone and starts ordering the part and tells us to wait 1 week for the part to get here.

1 week later

A different guy comes with the part, opens up the tv, replaces the part and trys it out, again turns on for 5mins then shuts off. Then he says the video board is the problem, he goes to his phone, orders the part and tells us to wait another week.

1 week later

We get a call saying that the wrong part came, wait another week for the right one to come

Another week later

We get a call saying that the techie is not available for the part installation, wait another week

Another week later (present)

The guy comes in, opens the tv, replaces the part, trys it out and doesnt work. So he calls the guys at the support center and tells them to replace the TV since its been about a month now and nothing is working, they say that tv wont be replaced, they also tell him to reorder that same part since the one that get got was a refurbished part.

So that's the story so far up to now, updates are going to be posted as they come in
