I purchased a Maytag refrigerator in September along with an extended warranty serviced by GE Protection. My refrigerator failed in August. Since then it has failed 4 more times. GE is refusing to replace the unit stating that their contract reads the same part must fail 3 times within a 12 month period. Each time they come out they replace a different part. They insist on using A & E Appliance repair and won't allow me to pick someone else. A & E does not give me a service ticket to prove they were called out and when I asked them to give me the records they say they can't. I want my refrigerator replaced, I paid more than $2,000 for it and it should last more than 18 months. Do I have any recourse?
