RCA 50"HD projection TV broke after only 3 months it has been 2 months I don't have a TV and I am out 1,150.00

I purchased a RCA 50" HD projection TV from my local Walmart on Nov. 17th 2007. On Feb. 29 it quit working. I followed their proceedure to try to get this resolved. The only office to handle this is not in this country and you cannot speak to anyone in this country! My TV was taken out of my home and brought to the nearest "approved" service center for futher dignosis and repair.

It is now April 25th I have now been told that my set cannot be repair and they will have to "submit" and order for a replacment. I was told this can take 6-8 weeks! When I asked who else I can contact to try to get this resolved sooner I was told there is no one else. I am out 1,150.00 the cost of the TV and the extended warrenty I purchased, which by the way does not add on additional time just because I don't have my TV.

I feel very violated and helpless. There does not seem to be any avenues other then THEIR way to get this resolved. I think this is nothing short of grand larceny. I hope someone can learn from this. But I also think something needs to be done RCA Thomson should not be allowed to do this to consumers!
