Electronics and household app.
Dropped television off to be repaired. Paid standard $60 diagnosis fee upfront. I was called the next day and told that my TV needed a power supply. They told me I was going to have to find one myself since they couldn't find one. I asked how much more would it be to put it in for me. I was told if I could find one they would charge me another $40 to have it installed, for a total bill of $100. I contacted the TV manufacturer. I had one delivered to my house for total of $103. $163.00 so far. I hand carried it to the shop for installation. I called next day. They said it was ready to be picked up.
Upon picking up my television, I was presented with a bill for $145.70, $10.70 of that being for "miscellaneous parts"!!! I paid the bill letting the person behind the counter know that I was not happy. I called the owner, Mr. Moon, twice, asking for a refund of the overcharge of $45.70. He basically told me that he charges what he feels like charging. Total cost, $248.70!!
