Poor customer service

This is a very shady business. The salespeople look like used cars salesman and act like it too. They will promise you the moon but look out if you want to return anything once it's opened. You too will be stuck with a store credit.

My elderly friend was sold a Toshiba VCR/DVD recorder combo. She had asked for the model that was the easiest to use. I have to say that as technically savy as I am I too was dismayed by the 86 page manual. Clearly this unit isn't user friendly.

Bottom line is that they refused to take it back even with the box, packing materials and accessories all in perfect condition. The other options weren't any better. I really doubt the sales force there knows very much about the product at all. They are recruited from the general sales minions with promises of big commissions. It's always a bad sign when the sales force try to grab you from the parking lot. I say avoid this business. It's safer and easier to buy online.
