Brother Intellifax 775

I as these others bought the Brother InteliFax 775 with the thought the price would include a $10 rebate. After 6 months of waiting for the rebate to come and filing request with the processing house as to where it was I was finally sent a post card stating that my household limit for this rebate had been reached. Strange seeing how as I never got the rebate but I was over my limit. I filed a complaint with the brother.com website and they assured me they were processing my rebate and I would receive it soon, but I guess the company and the processing center don't coordinate their work.

I have decided this is the last product which offers a mail in rebate I will ever buy. These companies just make these offers to get you to buy their product instead of a competitors but when they dont come through with the promised rebates you are screwed their competitor is screwed and the company you bought from is laughing at you for falling for this maketing ploy. I will be sure to go out of my way to NOT buy another product with a rebate, and I hope others do the same because chances are you will never see your money anyways.
