Has not mailed rebate as promised after 3 months of waiting

Bought a years worth of contact lenses from Cooper Vision from my local optomotrist... Solely because of the promise of a rebate. I would not have made that large of a purchase had I not been promised a nice rebate.

I completed the online application for the rebate and mailed ALL required documentation for my rebate to be handled as directed. This was completed in the 1st week of July. Was informed the rebate would arrive in the form of a visa gift card withing 4-6 weeks. As of 10/11/10 I have yet to receive my rebate. I have made multiple contacts via email to rebate headquarters and have gotten nothing, but the run around. Was promised that the rebate had been sent for processing on 9/2 and would have it within 15 days. When it did not arrive by the promised date, I emailed again. Was again notified that it was sent for processing on 9/14/10 and promised to have within 15 days. Did not receive rebate by that promised date. I emailed them again stating I was going to contact the BBB and post on this site if I did not receive it as promised.

As of today, 10/11/10 I still have not received my rebate... So I am following through with my promise of posting here to warn others of Cooper Vision's lack of customer service and misleading communication regarding their promotional rebates.
