Rippoff dishonest. Rude staff. Hung up the phone on me several times and called me names. Made insulting remarked about my sons

Electronics and household app.

I found this company over the internet and called them to order a camcorder battery. I paid for faster shipping since I needed this battery for my sons graduation. I also could of got the batttery cheaper but I decided to stay with a company in New York, since I live in Long Island to get the battery faster.

I received the battery and charged it. The battery did not charge at all. It had to be defective or used but it remain dead. When I called the company to tell them, they told me that I could return the battery but I would not get a new one in time for my son's graduation. They told me that I could get a refundd but I would have to return the battery at my own expense which the shipping cost me $6.50.

When I asked to speak to a manager about the shipping charge, he was so so rude. He told me that it wasnt his fault that the battery was defective, since he gets the batteries from China. Clearly this was a misrepresentation for the start. He was not willing to back the product even though it was his company that was selling the battery to the public.

I tried to explain that I did not think this was fair. I pointed out that it was clearly written on the website that the company would pay for return shipping if it was there fault. However he maintained that it wasnt there fault and I should be out the money.

Then he got very very rude. He yelled that my camcorder was an old piece of crap and that is why the battery didnt work. He hung up the phone. I called back and he hung up after telling me that my sons were stupid, who he never met in the first place. He hung up and refused to let me talk to someone higher up from him.

Finally I got a persons name that was higher then him who was named Alan. I have tried about 10 or more times to reach Alan but every staff member has refused to let me talk to him. Another staff person called me a spoiled brat and made rude insulting remarks about women.

I have emailed them 3 times, and called for 2 days. No one will let me talk to a manager or owner. I stopped payment on my credit card and plan to fight them. Now its not just about the $6.50 but I do not want them to get away with the insulting remarks they made that were agaisnt me and my sons and that were made toward all women.

These so-called man need to learn that in America you are not allowd to talk to woman as if they are second class citizens. They need to learn how represent their company honestly and if they are middleman, they need to state that and tell the public that they are not responsible for the products condition.
