Lack of response to repair of warranted product Ripoff

Electronics and household app.

I purchased a new Toshiba 50" HDTV in Nov.'06. The screen started going black intermitantly in the beggining of April '07. I called Toshiba and after performing some recommended procedures (which failed) they sent me a new lamp. I installed the lamp but it didn't repair the problem. They suggested I contact a certified repair shop which I did twice, once to investigate the problem and again to try an upgrade procedure which didn't work. I was initially told a new TV would be sent by Airway and my old one would be taken. I called back when I hadn't heard from them and was told that I would be recieving a return # so that I may return the TV to the store where I purchased it. I have been very PATIENT and was willing to work this problem out between myself and the company. All that I have dealt with is being stressed out on daily basis! The TV goes to a black screen every 5 minutes, I can't watch the Television, DVD or a VCR tape without this happening. All I want is to get rid of this TV and have this problem resolved sooner than later!!
