GEEK SQUAD WHAT A JOKE ripoff squad Acer computers are junk and microsoft vista is trash

In march i decided i would buy a new desktop computer. I had bought many things and spent thousands of dollars at bestbuy but had never purchased a computer from them. I figured after all the commercials that they would know what they were doing. Well i went there and they had a compaq package but they were sold out and i offered to buy the one on display since it worked really good. They could not sell it, the "salesperson" showed me the Acer ast180 package. So i agreed to buy it. Well the monitor was sold out so then it was substatuted by another brand. Also it did not have a wireless card that the other did so i had to buy one of those too.

I get it home and it wouldnt even boot up. So i removed the wireless card and it did. I loaded the software again since it didnt recognize the card and then it worked and connected to my network, but then it had to be removed and installed each time i wanted to turn computer on. I called up there and the "geek" on duty said "well i guess its not compatable after all. So i removed it and got stuck with it. I had to have someone come and run a cable so i could use the ethernet card. So it goes online now. It freezes up, i get crash dump errors all the time, driver quit responding errors all the time, i have some games i play but they freeze and lock up so i went there and bought a vista ready game and it wont even play 5 minutes, the sound card quits working, i called the store and they dont know what to do, i have gone to the acer website since i was told if i could find the drivers i could have win xp loaded on it and will work fine, but the acer site works as good as best buy does. You can get there but cant download anything since there links dont work

Last resort i emailed best buy, got the comfirmation email saying i would be contacted in no more than 3 days. Well after a week i hadnt heard anything so i wrote them back, still no response. I have contacted my credit card company since instead of paying cash like usual i put it on a card and have been told if i get no response then to take it back, leave it for repairs since they wont exchange the junk and they damned sure cant fix it and to get a slip showing where they have it back in there hands and they will get charged back the amount i paid minus the cost of the card and the game i got ripped off for. I would really like to just have a computer that works like the one i originally went to get, i have always reccommended best buy to all my friends and others but after this experiance i cant do that anymore and doubt if i ever will buy from them again unless they solve this issue. So until them stay away from bestbuy and shop circuit city, they stand behind what they see
