Sellyoular
False Advertising, Selling Trash ripoff Internet

Electronics and household app.

Sellyoular promises on their website to provide the following:
1) Lowest prices (Such a claim could never be verified).
2) 90 day warranty (But, he never actually takes action).
3) Free wall charger and free car charger (not supplied).
4) Phones reconditioned to "Level 1" (The phone supplied to me was pulled from the trash. It still had dried food stuck to the case. It was badly scratched and dented.).
5) We guarantee every battery (When the battery turned out to be bad, the wrong battery was supplied as a replacement — postage due).

Here's the story. I ordered a phone from Sellyoular and selected the promised overnight shipping. I got an automated e-mail response saying the shipping could take as much as 10 days. 12 days later, I called to find out where was my phone.

(The voice on the answering machine was the same as that of the guy who answered. Obviously a one-man operation.)

I was told that he did not have the phone I ordered — never had one, just advertised one. I agreed to an alternate model. It was shipped (according to the postmark, 3 days later.)

When it arrived, it was badly scratched and stunk from the food waste still attached. Probably pulled from a trash can.

The badly-copied packaging insert said that "refurbishment" consists entirely of turning the phone on to see if the screen lights up. Beyond that, you're on your own.

No charger was included. I bought a charger and tried to get the phone working. A day later, I finally got a "welcome screen". After a week of charging and testing, the phone would still not hold a charge for more than theee minutes.

I e-mailed for a replacement phone. Sellyoular said they would send me a "new" battery that day. 10 days later I e-mailed again to find out where the battery was. No response; but the battery arrived two days later — postage due — damaged and dented. It was the wrong one, and did not fit the phone I received.

My call to the "office" was rejected. Under the unwritten "three strikes rule" I asked for my money back. I was told "only store credit". Since then, I can get no response either by phone or by e-mail.

In short, Sellyoular sells whatever trash he can find.

Don't buy.
