OnRebate Deceptive practices ripoff Florida

OnRebate.com experience:

In August they received documentation for three rebates. Two of the rebates were accepted and payments received on 11/30/06 and 1/21/07. The third rebate, on 8/18/06, was... Denied insufficient documentation. OnRebate would not identify which documentation was insufficient in any of the six email request sent. The local Florida BBB was contacted, OnRebate did not respond to their inquiry. The Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services (doacs) (http://www.800helpfla.com/complnt.html) was contacted, 3, and a miracle happened the rebate was accepted on 3/7/07.

The rebate, per OnRebate, would be sent on 4/4/07. When the rebate was not received OnRebate was again contacted, they informed me the rebate would take 8 to 10 weeks after approval. Again, 4, doacs was contacted and another miracle happened, the rebate was received on 4/30/07.

I suggest the form on http://www.800helpfla.com/complnt.html be used to file a formal complaint against OnRebate.com tactics.
