Lux audio surround sound ripoff victoria

Have heard of these scams before. White van (Pregio) called in to our business drive with 2 young males on board. Both were fast talkers saying they had an extra Lux Audio surround sound unit on board that there boss didnt know about and wanted to get rid of it for cash. They said it was a extra from a delivery they had to do. (I live in a small town, who needs 10 surround sound units?) They said it was worth about $1900 and would go well with my home 5.1 surround sound and i could have it for a 1/4 of the price.

I told them id give them $100 cash for it and take it off there hands if it was a problem for them to take it back the the warehouse. They hinted that they wanted $500 i told them that $100 was it and if they didnt like it id call there boss and tell him that his drivers were selling his goods. They couldnt get out fast enough. I called the phone number in the yellow pages but just got an answering machine. Its always fun to catch out a scammer!
