Twice, I tried to order a Canon lens from Expresscameras.com. Their advertised price was over $300 less than I found the lens anywhere else. I ordered the lens online, but was required to call their "customer service" line to "confirm" the order. Turns out that they just want to make you speak with a rep that tries to sell you aftermarket items and add-ons that you don't want.

It took me five minutes to convince the rep that I wasn't interested in his recommended "better" lens. After finally saying that he would place the order, I received an email stating that the lens I ordered was back ordered. They never did email me to let me know the lens was in.

What really upset me was that one of the sales reps tried to get me to pay an additional $140 to upgrade from a plastic connector to a metal connector on a Canon 2.8L 70-200mm IS lens. I checked and found out that Canon doesn't even MAKE that lens with a plastic mount.
