Rebate checks

I Have bought 2 computers from Best Buy with the intention of collecting rebates. On both occasions I FOLLOWED their instructions on what to do. I followed them correctly. I received one rebate on the monitor. But on the computer i got a letter back saying I did the paperwork wrong. That is impossible. So then I called and was told that I would be receiving a check soon. Well its been 4 years and Im still waiting.
