Rebate Scam

Purchased two cel phones and service in June. Was offered $50 rebate PER phone. When I seemed unswayed, the offer was made for a $100 rebate PER phone.

I was also showed on a service map how good the service was.

I purchased the phones and service for close to $400 US.
Upon waiting two months for rebate or information, I returned to the retail outlet and was told that is normal simply wait.

It's been over a year, and I have not recieved any rebate. I also enjoy a close to p dropped call rate, though this may be due to the service or the phones.

When the service agreement is lapsed, I will be trashing the phones and going back to their competitor. I advise no one fall for the rebate scam, and shop around for a reliable service, instead of taking the salesman's word for it.
