Electronics and household app.

I ordered a Canon 420ex flash for my camera from photoking. They talked me into a more expensive model (sunpak 4000) they said was better. After receiving it I found the sunpak 4000 elsewhere for $60.00 cheaper.

I called to return it, argued with the customer service rep, and was given $30.00 off. I then found out that the flash would not even work with my camera.

I called back, and called back, and was put on hold each time adding up to 8 hours and 22 minutes over a 2 week period.

Feberuary 11th I was put on hold for 24 minutes before getting through to an operator, who said he would connect me to someone who could help, and promptly put me on hold for another 73 minutes. I called back and hit the number for ordering and they picked up on the second ring.

When I told them what I wanted they said" let me connect you to someone who can help." and put me on hold for another 24 minutes so I hung up.

I called back the following day and left them a message that if I didn't have satisfaction by 4P.M. I would call my attourney and the consumer protection agency. No responce. I finally got through to someone on the 13th. He looked up my account and said sorry your 21 days to return the item was up on monday February 11th.

I went balistic got my return murchandise authorization but made the mistake of agreeing to exchange for the flash I originally wanted, but, they didn't have it in stock so I would have to buy the "kit" for an extra $15, and also pay the restock fee on a defective flash of $15, plus s&h. THE GOOD PART.

They sent me a camcorder addressed to me with a paid receipt in the box. According to the state of Wisconsin (verified with the post master, if someone sends you something in the mail that you did not order, it is yours to keep.

I never received the new flash, although I sent them the old flash back insured mail, and they acknowledged receiving it. They have lied to me that the new flash has been sent in good faith and I should send the camcorder back in good faith.

Now they are threatening to take me to collections for a flash I never received, and a camcorder I never ordered. They say that they didn't send the new flash (after stating that it was already sent in good faith.)

Because they could not charge the extra $52 on my card for the restock fee and s&h although my credit card company has verified that this is not true. What should I Do.
