Ripoff Is A Major Internet Scam and The Store Does Not Exist

I purchased a simple SCANNER ANTENNA from GI Joes. I found this crooked business through an internet search when I typed in SCANNER ANTENNA.

After I made the purchase which amounted to $38.95 incl. Shipping, I found it strange that I never recieved any shipping info. Via email (ie. Tracking Number).
I tried to call the "company" several times and I constantly got a recording stating "due to the large demand we might not be able to answer your call, please go to our website to make a purchase".

The telephone # did not have any option to leave a message. I found it very strange when I got this recording for several days.

Even if your business is busy 1 day, what are the chances that you're swamped with business everyday? Besides if business is that great then one would have live persons to handle customer service!

Anyway, I also wrote several e-mails to GI JOES RADIO ELECTRONICS via their web site and I got no response there either.

After countless Telephone Calls and e-mails I decided to contact the LOCAL POLICE in Richmond, KY to find out if they ever saw or heard of GI JOES RADIO ELECTRONICS. And of course they never heard of the "business".
FYI. According to claims made on GI JOES RADIO ELECTRONICS web site, the store has been in the SAME LOCATION FOR 23 YEARS.

However, like I said, The LOCAL POLICE AND THE STATE POLICE IN RICHMOND, KY HAVE NEVER HEARD OF, OR EVER SEEN ANY SUCH BUSINESS AT THE ADDRESS POSTED ON THE WEB SITE. The Same address where they claim they have been for over 23 years!!!

Well, needless to say I had to contact my Credit Card Company and notify them of the FRAUDULENT PURCHASE.
My CC Company has refunded my money and is lauching their own investigation.

Don't fall into the nice design of a website scam, all that glitters is not gold.

BTW, Ironically the name of the company that designed the web site for GI JOES RADIO ELECTRONICS is called WEBTRIX.net

I wonder why they call themselves that name!!???
