Ripoff Deceptive printer toner sales procedure

A representative named Brian called my office asking for the model no. Of our office printer. He then asks me to hold before his supervisor Stephen takes the phone and apologizes saying the sales rep was new. He then tells me that the reason for the call was that the price of the toners have gone up and that they apologize for not letting us know beforehand. He then offers me the old price if I order the toner by faxing back the Order Confirmation that we will fax me. They then ask for my fax number (which they should have had) to send the OC.
I knew that this was suspicious since we get our toners from our photocopier's service providers for free. I also think that they should have all the information of our copier. I called our service provider and they indicated that these calls were not from them. I let them fax the form anyway to see what it was all about.
Upon reading the Order Confirmation, I see that the toners were way too expensive than any online suppliers. I also did some search on the internet for IDCSERVCO, which turned up on usacomplaints.com. The supervisor calls back and asks me to fax the confirmation, to which I refused.
The deception here is that they were trying to pass off as our office's photocopier service provider. They did the "ignorant new sales representative" bit to justify why they did not know our copier's model number and fax number. They then apologize for their increase in prices even though I have never subscribed nor ordered from them in the first place.
They hope to have some unwitting admin assistant fill in the order confirmation form and lock in an order. What really bothers me is how they got our phone number and address as shown in the faxed order form in the first place. Maybe they target anyone in the phone book randomly.
Beware of these guys.
