Ripoff will not deliver a product advertised as IN STOCK

A sieries of events will be helpful here:
1. Ordered Logitech MX 610 Laser Cordless Smart Mouse on 1/23/06
2. Order accepted and "sent to warehouse" 1/23/06
3. Received e-mail from buy.com that there is difficulty shipping because they don't have any 1/23/06
4. Series of e-mails with their "customer service" stating that they are still advertising the item as IN STOCK produces nothing but "sorry about that", "cancel and reorder", etc., etc. 1/23 1/24 & 1/25/06.

The advertised price for the mouse is well below any other I've found AND they are offering a $20.00 rebate with a cancellation date of February 29th on the rebate. Buy.com is advertising a "come on" price which they have no intention of delivering!

Events on 1/25/06:
1. E-amil from buy.com includes the same mouse at the same low price.
2. Buy.com web site STILL advertising the item at the same price and indicates IN STOCK (three days after they said thay couldn't deliver).
3. E-mail back from customer service still giving me the runaround!

It appears that this company can advertise anything they want at any price and simply refuse to deliver at their option! This consumer is fed up with this practice of deception in order to increase the number of "hits" on their web site. I will be happy to participate in any activity that will force these people to stop these deceptive practices.
