Ripoff bill for services not ordered

One time, I believe two or three years ago, we ordered the NBA League Pass from Dish Network. Apparently, their policy is to automatically reinstate that service each year, even though we did not order it. It is up to us to call them and tell them that we do not want the service. They said we have a seven day grace period to cancel. First, how can we cancel if we did not order it? And second, when we got the bill, the bill arrived past the seven days—how convenient!!
