I paid for a $399 extended warranty on a $2600 plasma and Doug Ward with American TV keeps giving me the run around and will not replace or repair it

I purchased a 42' plasma tv for $2599 on 11/1/04 and the tv went out 1 year and 2 weeks later so it was after the manufacturers warranty.

I was happy that I purchased the 36 month extended warranty until I found that they will not honor it. It has been about 2 months now and I still have no resolution. If I am lucky to get a hold of Doug Ward the service/warranty manager he just gives me the run around. He typically will not take my calls until I call 15 times in a row and he gets sick of me. He is now to the point that he will not call me back at all.

Do they think this is just going to go away... I think not. I am interested in filing a law suit if there is anyone else that would be interested in participating.
