Rebate ripoff still has not honored its rebate after 10 months! Internet

I ordered a wireless phone from Wirefly in February of this year with a supposed rebate of $75.00.10 months later, I still have to receive it. I sent my papers to White Bear Lake and found out later that branch has gone out of business.

First they said the forms were illegible or incomplete which was not true. Later they said a computer had made an error and they were processing my rebate. That was two months ago, I have contacted the customer service twice with no response. I see from this website that i am not alone in being ripped off.

Aan article in Yahoo gave pointers on how to get our rebates.

1) Contact the manufacturer or the retailer of the product.
2) Contact the highest possible level in the company.
3) Contact Michael Dershowitz, senior attorney in the division of advertising practices for the Federal Trade Commission. File your complaint at the agency's web page or call toll-free 1-877-FTC-HELP.
4) Contact the attorney general's office of your state in which you live.
5) Contact the better business bureau since Inphonic, is supposed to be a member.
6) Contact your local newspaper and write a letter to the editor about the company, so as to warn other purchasers.
