Edge Cellular ripoff-item came broken and I can't get a proper response from the company

Electronics and household app.

I ordered a Jabra BT250 Bluetooth Wireless headset and a Jabra A210 Bluetooth adapter for non bluetooth cell phones. The order came in but the casing on the headset was cracked when I opened the package and there was no damage to the packaging. I attempted to contact the company both by e-mail and by phone. I left numerous messages for the company to get back to me on their voicemail and I sent several e-mails into their customer service.

I received back one e-mail telling me to send back the broken item to them and they will replace it but I need to pay for the return back to them and I needed to send them the broken item before they would replace it. I responded by telling them that was not an option and that I felt that it was not my responsibility to pay for the return postage and also with working with other companies in the past, any other company will send you the new item first with a postage paid envelope to put the broken item into for return but this was not given as an option.

Since that response, I have sent several responses to the company both via e-mail and via phone messages with no response back from the company. I paid good money for this item and I feel like I am stuck with this broken item.

I attempted to contat Jabra on this to see if they had any warranty through them that I could put into use. Jabras repsonse was very quick and nice but they could not help as they said that it looks like this company has aquired this item at an "Unconventional" way as they are selling the item at a much lower rate than they allow for their vendors to sell it at. I didn't expect for Jabra to be able to do anything as this is not their problem. I just want Unified Cellular to get back to me and fix this problem and sooner than later.
