Nextel
Ripoff!

First, we've been a customer of Nextel for some 6 years and have 39 phones. On January 24 I phone Nextel and ordered two replacement phones. Usually they are received the following day. I waited until Thursday, January 27 when I called to check our order status. I was told they could find no record of our order.

After spending about and an hour on the line it was decided that we should reorder. So, on January 27 I ordered two phones to be delivered the following day.By the end of business Monday January, 31 no phones had been received.

Unable to follow up on our phone order until Wednesday February, 2,2205 I called Nextel. Starting at 6:00 am and finally reaching the office of Mr. Tim Donahue (President) at 12:30 pm. This after several cut offs and unreturned calls. What I was told by the executive office is just unbelievable!

The man I spoke with told me that he could find neither order referred to above. He suggested another order however, our account is now a mere 3 days past due and therefore we can not place an order. I pointed out that we have been a loyal and long term customer and the phones were being ordered to continue service with them. Also, had either of the two aforementioned orders gone through there would not have been a payment issue.

To keep the story short we were refused a third order that should have gone through over one week ago. This is way Nextel treats its customers! I told the man I spoke with we'd be canceling our business to which he replied he could not meet our needs and basically said go ahead and cancel.

It is refreshing to now have competitors to Nextel's walky-talky service. We're going another way!
